His relatives reported that he had become extremely aggressive and short-tempered this year and had sought treatment for headaches.
The video footage that emerged online showed Ilnaz entering the school premises with a long gun and backpack clad in a black outfit.
He immediately shot a 16-year-old girl near the gymnasium. The security guard closed the school door and pressed a panic button. However, he entered the building by shooting at the glass and injured a female guard in the process.
Ilnaz nearly shot 30 people and nine people were killed in the massacre. The victims included seven students and two adults.
Two students died from jumping out of the window in an attempt to escape the gunman.
