Valley Isle Marine Center of Wailuku received the 2016 Gold Sales Award from Honda Outboard Motor Co. recently in Seattle.
The award recognizes the 46-year-old business as the top Honda dealership in the state of Hawaii. It was presented to CEO Mark Tracy at the Western Regional Dealer Meeting in the Seattle Marriott Waterfront hotel ballroom.
This year’s Gold Sales Award tops last year’s Silver Award won by Valley Isle Marine Center at the same event. The Gold Award is given to dealers in each state across the nation who connect the most satisfied ocean and freshwater recreation industry users, fishermen and other boaters with the award-winning Honda Outboard.
Valley Isle Marine Center was also selected as winner of the Mayor’s Small Business Award in 2014 for a company with up to 10 employees.
Its showroom/service center is located at the corner of Wells and Market streets in Wailuku. Founded in 1970, it sells and services boats, motors, trailers, electronics and marine accessories, and it has been a Honda dealer since 1995.
